Eyebrow Hair Grow Naturally

Eyebrows occupy a very visible location on one's face and are critical to the appearance of the eye area. They frame the eye and serve as an important aesthetic landmark between the eye and the frontal scalp hairline. Significant loss or changes in eyebrow hair density are usually very noticeable and can be quite troubling. While eyebrow shapes and styles change over the years, thin or sparse eyebrows are not usually aesthetically desirable.

Hair transplants to the eyebrows can be done for both men and women. While most commonly done for eyebrows lost due to injury (lacerations, avulsions, burns), disease (alopecia areata, trichilomania), or age (thinning of the hair) it may also be done for cosmetic enhancement (thickening of the eyebrow and/or extension of the tail) as well. Thin eyebrows in women occur from a congenital thinness and limited ability for the eyebrows to grow or loss of eyebrow hairs due to excessive plucking.

Tattooing of the lost or thin eyebrow is a very common technique that is simple and quick to do with an immediate result. Unfortunately, eyebrow tattoos often look very unnatural with less than ideal color matches. Over time the tattoo often fades, turning into a blue-black color which is an even poorer color match. Eyebrow tattoos are not easily removed and I usually advise against it. It is better to do hair transplants right into the tattooed skin.

Hair transplantation to the eyebrow is a more refined technique of that used in scalp hair grafting. It is based on two important principles; individual follicular grafts and precise placement into the unique shape and orientation of eyebrow hairs. While the eyebrow area is not big (compared to the scalp), the harvesting and placement of individual follicles into the eyebrow is a meticulous procedure that can take almost as long as scalp hair transplant sessions.

Placement and proper angulation of the hairs is the key to a good, natural-looking eyebrow transplant. The eyebrow has hairs that have unique orientations in different parts of the eyebrow. The hair in the upper part of the middle of the eyebrow points upward to the hairline, while the hair on the tail will usually point towards the ears. The eyebrow hairs are also oriented much like a feather with the upper part of the eyebrow pointed slightly downward and the lower portion slightly upward forming a slight ridge.

Eyebrow hair transplantation may require more than one session of grafting to get the best results. Not all follicles completely survive each grafting session and optimal density of the eyebrow may require a second set of grafts. My goal is to get the best result in one session, not two, but hair transplant growth and density is not completely predictable. Second graft sessions are not done for one year after the first to give optimal time for the hair to grow and for the patient to adjust to the changes in the appearance of the eyebrow.

The hair used for eyebrow transplants comes from the scalp. Because most scalp hairs are more coarse than fine eyebrow hairs, the donor site is usually taken from the scalp hair right behind the ear. Scalp hair in this area is thinner and a better match for the eyebrows. Each eyebrow usually requires about 50 to 75 hair transplants, sometimes up to more than 100 per eyebrow depending upon the goals of the patient. These hair transplants, like the rest of the scalp, will continue to grow for the rest of your life and will need to be trimmed regularly. Over time, the transplanted scalp hairs will take on some of the characteristics of eyebrow hairs and growth will slow down. (eyebrow hair grow is about half that of scalp hairs)

Be aware that although the eyebrow hair transplants will be seen immediately after the procedure, the hair shaft attached to the follicle will fall out. In essence, follicle transplants are being done and the hair shaft is a good handle to place them. The hair shaft will quickly shed leaving the eyebrow looking like it did before the procedure. Hair growth from the follicle will require at least 3 months to become visible again and up to 6 to 9 months to grow in and see the final results.

There is no significant recovery from the procedure other than some crusting of the eyebrows and occasionally some slight upper eyelid swelling or bruising. There are no dressings used on the eyebrows other than ointment to keep them moist for the first few days. One can usually return to work within a few days.

As one can see, eyebrow hair transplants require much greater commitment and patience than eyebrow tattooing methods. But if one is looking for the most natural eyebrow result, particularly in a young person, eyebrow hair transplants may be a good long-term solution.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Will all my eyebrow hair grow back after getting it waxed?
I naturally have very thick and bushy eyebrows, but I got them waxed today and they are super thin. Way too thin. Will they ever be as thick as it originally was? And will ALL of the hair grow back, or will it be thinner then it was before?

I just got a wax, and got it plucked a little. This is my third time doing it, and some of the hair never grew back from the previous times.

    • ANSWER:
Stop waxing and let them grow in. If you are young they will likely grow back just fine. Waxing removes the root, so this will take some time. Most waxing places pluck too thin. Look at magazines at young people..their eyebrows are thick. You can learn to pluck and shape them yourself. Waxing on the top of the eyebrow is a no-no. Your arch should fall right above the outer part of the iris of the eye (directly above)

  2. QUESTION:
anything I can use to make my eyebrow hair grow faster/thicker?
Are there any products I can use like mens hair rogaine or any kind of hair growth stuff on my eyebrows? I plucked most of them off, well just very thin like10 years ago, and they've grown back, but they are so thin and very light, I'm naturally blonde so they're light anyways, so I color them in with eyeshadow, but I'm sick of doing it, any suggestions?

    • ANSWER:
shave them off and let it grow again, it will grow thicker.
that's what my mother did to me.

  3. QUESTION:
How long does it usually take for eyebrow hair to grow back?
So I've been plucking for a couple years and my eyebrows are kinda thin now. I want them to grow all the way back to the way they were naturally (very thick) and just pluck the strays so I have nice thick, shaped eyebrows.
How long should I take? My eyebrows grow pretty fast.

  4. QUESTION:
How do I grow back eyebrow hair quickly!?!? Help Please!?
I waxed my eyebrows alone at home and the wax dripped down further than it was supposed to and got stuck on my eyebrows and I pulled and tried to comb out the wax but it got stuck! Now I have a bald spot on my eyebrows! :( Please anyone can you help me grow my eyebrows back quicker than letting it naturally grow! PLEASE!

  5. QUESTION:
After laser treatment erasing birthmark, my child's eyebrow doesn't grow anymore. Any hair regrow treatment?
My baby child has a big dark birthmark over his eye and forefront. He's gone multiple laser treatments to erase it. It's faded a lot, but the eyebrow is gone. Will the eyebrow regrow naturally afterward? Is there any kind of treatment to regrow eyebrow hair loss due to laser? He's only 2 years old.

  6. QUESTION:
My hair will stop growing if I stop using Rogaine? Even if I m planning to use it on my eyebrow?
Many people here suggested Rogaine for eyebrow growth so I am planning to give it a try. I am born with natural thin and sparse eyebrow. So for about 5 years i tired many methods but till now my eyebrows are still not thick, bushy and hairy like how i wan it to be. I wan naturally grown eyebrows, not draw, not tatoo or anything.

Any one use rogaine before and can you please tell me the result please? I welcome both positive and negative results

And one important thing im concern with, I heard someone mentioned that rogaine will enter your blood stream and cause your brain to stop growing hair. Is this true? If its true then does it only effect hair on the area you apply or every hair on your body?

I only gonna apply rogaine on my eyebrow with a Q-tips (suggested by Tyra Banks on her show) but I dont wan it to effect hair growth on other parts of my body especially hair on my head.

    Many Thanks!

    • ANSWER:
Rogaine is for hair re-growth. It will not cause your eyebrow hair to become thicker, nor will it cause other hair to stop growing.

  7. QUESTION:
Left eyebrow NATURALLY thinner than the right?
I'm 19 now, but when I was about 11 or so, I started to pluck my eyebrows. I overdid them for YEARS, and I grew them back over a period of time when I was 14/15. I can barely recall the regrowth process. anyway, before that, I BUTCHERED my eyebrows. I plucked the top, bottom, the LENGTH... It was a mess. My right one grew back fine and is thick, but the left is terrible. The shape is completely different, and significantly thinner.

I got to plucking again about two years ago, and now I am regrowing them. I have not plucked in a month, but the right is so, so much thicker than the left. Here is my question: Will they eventually match to even a minimal degree? I use brow pencils and shadow, but it is still noticeably different. Also, does one eyebrow naturally grow slower than the other? I do know that, generally, the left eyebrow's hair grows more so to the side than up (if that even means anything in this context)

Sorry this is so long! I'm just extremely insecure. I do not want to pluck the right because I strongly prefer them full. I just don't know what to do anymore... the left is so much thinner, barely any hair has grown this entire month on that side, and the color is even lighter (due to the fact it is so thin), and the shape is noticeably different. Such past regret!

To reiterate my question: Will my left brow hair eventually thicken up during the growth process? It's going to slowly compared to the right...

    • ANSWER:
Well you can either leave them the way they are and continue to use brow pencils or you can trim the right side slightly so it matches with the left. At least until it grows back. I do believe your left brow will grow back and thicken. The same thing happened to my aunt. She over plucked her right brow and it was really thin but in 2-3 months it grew back to it's original thickness. I believe yours will too. It might take longer depending on how fast your brow hair grows.

How to make eyebrows grow in thicker?
Naturally, I have very thin eyebrows, except, the eyebrow hairs are really long. It's annoying because I can't shape them nicely. I was wondering if there was any way I could make more hair grow?
I'm sick of pencilling them in, it looks so unatural

    • ANSWER:
There are a few things that you can do to help your eyebrows grow thicker and fuller. We tend to forget that eyebrows are hair and like the hair on your head you need to take care of them.

Some things to consider are changing your diet, reducing stress and using an eyebrow enhancer.

  11. QUESTION:
concealing bald spot on eyebrow, HELP!?
I was trying to trim me eyebrow hair with a razor(dumb Idea, I wanted to see if it worked though) and I thought I was trimming the lower brow when I was trimming the upper brow instead. Now there's a (kinda) circle shape bald spot where there was supposed to be hair. I know growing eyebrow hair naturally takes months so I need a good way to conceal that bald spot.

    • ANSWER:
try filling it in with a eyeliner pencil or an eyebrow pencil found at any drugstore and just fdrawing it back in!! try to make it look as natural as possible by starting off light. hope this helps!!

  12. QUESTION:
My eyebrows are so small with hardly any hair in it. How can i make them grow naturally and quick?

    • ANSWER:
Look very carefully at your brows in a magnifying mirror. If there are no hair follicles in certain areas will almost certainly impossible to grow hairs there because they have no where to grow from.

To maximize hair growth I recommend combing a little castor oil to your brows and night and washing off in the morning. You should see a difference within a few weeks :) Also a good diet and proper hydration is essential. Nothing, including hair growth, will be at it's maximum potential without proper nutrition.

There are of course temporary fixes for the matter. You could use an eyebrow pencil or brow powder. I recommend powder for a softer more natural look. To make it more natural still only fill in gaps rather than the whole brow.

      Hope it works out! x

Ways to naturally get rid of excess facial hair?
I'm a 16 year old girl and I have so much excess hair all over my face; cheeks, chin, upper and lower lip, forehead, nose, and my eyebrow hair grows back the day after I pluck it. My brother was really emotionally abuse growing up and convinced me to shave my 'mustache' and 'sideburns' which just made things so much worse! (And now I have to pay for it for the rest of my life! Each time I pluck my face, it just grows back thicker, now!)
Can someone tell me some ways to naturally remove excess facial hair?
(And by natural I mean teas, things you can eat, vitamins, natural homemade waxing recipes, things you can do without chemicals... homemade, homegrown, natural things. )
    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

(Sorry if this is kind of TMI... I'm completely serious and I need serious advice! Thanks!)
I also have hair on my chest and I used to straighten my hair everyday for a couple of years and my hair (on my head) started thinning out on the top. I quit straightening about 2 years ago and it still hasn't started growing back.
I have so many hair problems! :( I feel like crying!
I think I might have PCOS but my mother thinks nothing is ever wrong with me and just says that's just the way I am. This is not normal.
My skin is so oily and I've tried so many things to help it, but nothing works. I can't wear ANY makeup because it will just come off. I HATE THIS.

  16. QUESTION:
How long does the eyebrow to regrow, naturally?
How long does the eyebrow to regrow? I didn't pluck them I shave them with the electric shaver. I want to see I look good with thin eyebrow. I didn't look right. I stopped it about a week ago. Plus, thick eyebrows are the new trend.

I have dark and thick eyebrows and I let my eyebrow grow and it is growing.
However, my left eyebrow is growing out little bit than my right eyebrow.

I know it depends the rate of the person's hair growth. So, can you tell the minimum of days or weeks.

    • ANSWER:
It generally takes about a month for eyebrows to completely grow back to normal length. Maybe more, maybe less no one can really tell for sure.

  17. QUESTION:
I need my eyebrows to grow quicker so i can have them shaped?
I over tweezed my eyebrows and i now want to let them grow to change my shape entirely. The thing is i have really white skin, and naturally jet black hair, so when letting my eyebrows grow it's totally embarrassing. So i thought i would let them grow within a week i have as a holiday.

The thing is my hair grows within one day to top layer of skin, around my eyebrows, but then takes ages (weeks) to grow into proper size eyebrow hairs. I have a cream which makes your eyebrows grow quicker, but it doesn't really work.

I was just wondering if there is anything i can do (even some sort of kinda surgery thing) which i could which will make my eyebrow hairs grow quicker, so i can then have my eyebrows shapped

    • ANSWER:
Well, I have a problem with my hair.
I'm light-haired, so you can barely notice my eyelashes, eyebrows, etc. and to be quite honest I don't have much hair either.

Anyways, to get to the point. I've googled some products for myself, and some people recommended LiLash (for increased hair growth in eyelashes). The company also sells LiBrow (for increased hair growth in eyebrows).

      http://www.lilash.com/

I read some pretty good testimonials, even though I'm skeptical...but if you write it in the search engine of google, you can see that some cosmetic gurus on youtube even made videos about it...

It is however quite pricey, but if you're that desperate...then why not? When I have enough money, I think I'll probably try some...
Other than that I heard there's hair transplant surgery, but it costs thousands of dollars, which in my opinions is not worth it! I noticed some girls draw them in, not my preferred choice though.

      Hope that helps!

    • ANSWER:
      1) Your eyebrows were beautiful before. Put the tweezers down for awhile, let them grow out. You don't want them to be thin!
      2) Thicker is better. Thickk eyebrows are beautiful and show how young you are, don't get rid of them. Thick eyebrows are in! Check out Keira Knightley.
      3) Stop the dying/tinting of the hair..let everything go natural. you are a very pretty girl, don't mess with things.

  28. QUESTION:
Hair growing straight out and differently after overplucking?
    Hi!
I 've been plucking the hairs between my eyebrows for 4 years now, but I've been overplucking all these years so that the gap between them is too big and it looks unatural. Now that I've let the hairs grow out again, many grow the opposite direction of the brow, others grow straight out with a bow downwards :-( . Can this be because of the plucking and is there any chance of the hairs growing naturally again (I don't belive it grew like that 4 years ago?)? Is it possible that hair won't grow out after "only" 4 years of plucking?

I really hope someone out there can answer my questions because right now it looks awful and I go around worrying that it won't improve.

In advance, thanks for your reply!

    • ANSWER:
      Hello,

Overplucking eyebrows be a big problem and only get worse as you get older. Remember when it comes to tweezing less is more. Because overplucking will eventually make the roots of the hair weak and they will stop growing in after a while if you continue to do that.
One way to curb this problem is to give your eyebrows a rest period where you are not plucking the area that has been overplucked. I know it maybe hard, but trust me. Leave that particular part of your eyebrows alone for at least a month, prefereably two, so the hair will start growing normally again. Just clean up the obvious area under the arch and brow and let the middle of the brows grow in. Eyebrow hair can actually go into shock from overplucking and may take months for some of the hair to start growing back, so the less plucking you do of the damaged area, the better.
As for the hair growing back straight and pointy. This will go away eventually too. You just need to leave that area alone and let the hair start to grow back fully.
One way to speed up the growth of your eyebrows is to cut a piece of garlic in half and rub it on your eyebrows. The garlic actually stimulates the hair's root and you can do it a few time a week. Your brows will grow back quicker than ever.

Also as the previous person wrote, you can use eyebrow gel to help the go in the direction you want and if the hair grows too long, you can brush them up with those little eyebrow combs and trim the ends so that they don't look as awkward, but do not pluck them! I'm repeating this because if you continue to overpluck them, they will not grow back eventually.

Hope this helped and good luck!

  29. QUESTION:
How can I make my eyebrows fuller?
My eyebrows are naturally very sparse; it's a trait from my dad's side of the family. I don't even pluck my eyebrows because I'm afraid it will look completely ridiculous due to how few eyebrow hairs I have. Does anyone know if there's something I can apply to my eyebrows to make the hairs grow in so that I'll have fuller eyebrows? I would like to be able to have enough hairs to shape my brows, lol.

    • ANSWER:
I'm not sure of anything to put on to make them grow but you could use an eyebrow pencil and some eyeshadow closest to your hair color and skin color. Start by applying the pencil from the middle of your eyebrow foward towards nose bone and blend with q-tip. Then apply shadow closest to your hair color and blend. Next apply color under eyebrow closest to skin color and blend up into your eyebrow. Now you'll have beautiful sexy even thick and natural looking eyebrows.

  30. QUESTION:
    Eyebrow help, please?
Ok so I'm 14, and I have naturally really thick eyebrows.

I used to hate them before I started getting them done, but then I loved them.
Before school started, my friend's mom decided that my eyebrows were ugly because they weren't thin. She wanted to wax them for me, since she waxes hers and her daughter's too, but I said no thank you. She wouldn't give up, so an hour later, I finally gave in, and I regret it SO much.
She made them too thin for me and one is thinner than the other, and they've been like this since the beginning of summer. (when i was little, i fell and now i have a scar under my left eyebrow. since hair doesnt grow over scars, the hair in the front of that eyebrow grows up, but i had it under control before she did them. when she did them, she left that, and then waxed the hair after that..yeah i dont know if anyone's gonna understand that haha but its ok thats not really the important part)

I miss my thick (and EVEN..) eyebrows so much, and I really want to grow them out, but while I'm growing them out, they're gonna look weird, like how they look when you don't get them done for too long.

I'm starting high school in less than a week, and I'm wondering how I can grow them out fast (I know they won't grow back fully in one week..but maybe a month?)

Are there any fairly cheap, fast ways to grow them out so I can get them done properly again?

If you read this whole thing, I love you, and thank you for any help! :)
oh and I didn't really know what category to put this in, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong one, hah.

    • ANSWER:
I don't think there's anything you can do to grow them out faster. But maybe try a eyeliner pencil close to the color of your eyebrows, and LIGHTLY try to fill in your brows, also get a small eyebrow brush and brush them to try to make them look fuller. I hope this helps you!

  31. QUESTION:
how to use eyebrow pencil naturally?
how do you use eye penicl on your eyes but keep them looking as natural as possible? i have very thin hair on my eyebrows, even when i grow them the hair is still thin, i want to penicl them but i really dont want the crazy drawn on look.
it might sound silly but some prople end up looking like they have drawn there eyebrows on with crayons

    • ANSWER:
I recommend Dior Browstyler brow pencil. It's expensive () but there are no similar products that I've come across. It comes in one color, Universal Brown, which is a natural looking medium brown that will work with all hair colors and complexions. It has a brow brush on one end and the pencil is twist-up so you never have to sharpen it. What makes this product different than most of the brow products I've tried is that the pencil is super thin, so it's totally impossible to make a mistake when applying it. You can purchase it at any Dior counter or Sephora. Give it a try, it's worth it!

  37. QUESTION:
Regrowing back eyebrows, more thick + quanity?
my friends played a cruel joke. they shaved off 1/4 of my eyebrows while i was asleep. they're growing but not the way I want it to be. Lately, i've been somewhat aware of my physical image so I want it to grow differently then before

    1. How do you make an eyebrow area (that has hair already & naturally grows thin) grow differently, more thick & quantity?

    2. how do you grow hair on a area that Doesn't have hair? perferbably more thick & more of it. (you can call it shaping it in a way)

    3. After researching & looking at all the questions, many people are suggesting "castor oil". what exactly does it do? more thickness + quanitity? in a area with OR without hair growing already? or what

    4. I'm surprised that out of many questions ive seen, nobody has mentioned Alcohol. the Myth is that putting alcohol on the skin surface will cause a Forest to quickly grow? meaning more thickness + quantity? which is what i want. everybody digs the bushy-eyebrow look right? what is the truth here

    • ANSWER:
Yes, castor oil works wonders on the eyebrows. Use a Q-tip lightly saturated in castor oil, or a tiny eyebrows brush, and apply sparingly so the oil doesn't drip to your eyes. After a few days you'll see a miracle happening--your brows will darken and grow bushier. The shaping of the eyebrows is easy, however, for the first time have a pro do it for you so you have a nice shape. Castor oil works differently than alcohol; it is good to clean the oily skin with alcohol before you apply a fresh coat of hair nourishing castor oil. I hope I answered your questions, be well.

  38. QUESTION:
What could I do with my hair to make it look different?

    I'm 16, 5'4, thin, dress mostly "emo".

  39. QUESTION:
How to be sure my hair is totally sexy?
First of all, I'm a 13 year old guy. I have had girls tell me my hair looks the best it ever has, but I'm not sure it's the best it can be. I need a way to be sure, and if it helps, I have some additional details. My hair is really soft, thanks to axe shampoo and conditioner. I have hair about a little above my eyebrows, and it's naturally dirty blond. My hairstyle was just to let my hair grow out. Any additional details needed, just ask them and i can put them in the additional details section.

    • ANSWER:
Did you say your hair is soft? That's sexy enough for me! At least it's real.

When they say it looks the best it ever has, girls don't lie. Keep up the good work! Bonus for you!!!!
By adding chemicals and use of straightening tools, you're heading the wrong way. That's when your hair feels like hay, not hair.

  40. QUESTION:
    eyebrows questions...... Easy 10 points?
    1. I have changed my eyebrow shape a few times but they all looked ok. Is it best just to stick to the shape my eyebrows naturally grow in?

    2. I know that fine features look better with thin eyebrows but how can you tell if you have fine features? (i have small eyes, large nose and i think my mouth is small but my face is kinda wide, though i think i have an oval faceshape)

3 How dark is too dark. I have not powdered in my eyebrows at all and i just finished plucking them. I am chinese so i have naturally black hair and my eyebrows are full. How can i tell if my eyebrows are too dark?

thanks. also i cannot get them professionally done so i have to do them myself

    • ANSWER:
      1) I'm Chinese too, and nooooo....Chinese eyebrows look weird if you leave them natural. Definitely not too attractive. Besides, plucked eyebrows give your face definition, which is good

      2) How thin is thin? Personally, I don't think Chinese people look good with thin eyebrows. It just disappears with the face and since we don't have prominent eyebrow bones, thin eyebrows wouldn't help...it would just accent the fact that we lack eyebrow bones and a flat face.

      3) You never want to go your natural color, but a few shades lighter than your natural color. In this case, probably a very dark brown.

Here's a video for this AMAZING makeup artist on youtube...She teaches you how to do it yourself without using a kit or anything...it's a great video, and I use it on myself!

I recently got my eyebrows waxed, and they are EXTREMELY thin! They use to be so thick... Now they are completely uneven, and I am about to start school in less than a month! 42. QUESTION:
How do I make my eyebrows more visible naturally?
Okay I have a problem with my eyebrows that I was just wondering if anyone else with the same problem has a solution for. I was born with naturally blonde hair but I dyed my hair black (which it is staying). The problem is that my eyebrows are light blonde and hardly visible. They're kind of thin as well. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do to get black eyebrows like am I supposed to dye them or something because I'm not very good with working with make up and would wind up looking like herman munster if I tried darkening them. Also I'd like to know how to get them to grow to be a bit thicker so that people will be able to see them. This is a real problem for me because my hair doesnt appear naturally black and my blonde eyebrows are to blame. I cant even have the blonde ones shaped because they're not thick enough and plus it'd be pointless since you wouldnt be able to see them.

    • ANSWER:
Before going to have them dyed professionally (do not ever use hair dye or attempt to dye it yourself) you should definitely look into getting a brow pencil. It's just like eyeliner, but for the brow. It comes in a variety of different shades. If you want to make them look natural with the dark hair, don't go too dark with the pencil. Even people with naturally black hair don't have black eyebrows, they are a brown color.

It is easy to use a brow pencil. Make sure you don't "draw" on the brows, but rather just use light strokes going in the same direction as the hair growth to achieve a natural look.

      Hope that helps!

I have dark green eyes and medium skin tone. My hair is naturally a dirty blonde color. It is about 3 inches past shoulder length. My eyebrows are dark though.

I was thinking a shade of brown?

I really want to dye my hair because I don't like the color it is. I also would like to know a suggested style but I don't want to cut hardly any because I want to grow my hair out pretty long. If you could include a picture or link to show me that would be great.

Time to change my Hair color. I have blue eyes, always burn in sun , fair skin . Hair is naturally med brown.?
I am 36 years old and about 4 years ago I started highlighting my hair and sometimes I would foil it depending on how much blonde I wanted. I am tired of the sometimes striped look. My hair grows fast so it needs coloring to me. I recently went to my stylist and told her to cut 2 inches off to remove the lightest color hair off my ends. THis helped alot. It looks better. I had my hair foiled in Dec.06 . I want to COVER gray and not really go dark back to my natural mousy med brown. My hair has a thick course texture and tends to be dry.

I have blue eyes and dark eyebrows and wear a light color foundation. I usually burn. I am fair. Suggestions please! I am a mom of a 6 month old and a 4 1/2 year old. I need a easy solution that is simple to maintain!

    • ANSWER:
To get rid of acne and black heads 1/4 a lemon and rub it on your face.

To even out your skin tone, apply a moisturiser and primer before you use foundation (brushes are best for this).

To get rid of pores you can either buy pore strips or use a face scrub to take out all the dirt which clogs the pores. You should use a puff of flat brush to apply a powder and pat don't sweep so that it fills the pores not covers.

To keep away the shine you should get a piece of tissue and half it so it is only one sheet thin and then use it as a subsitute of bloting paper.

To get rid of redness either use a green concealer or eyeshadow, or apply aloe vera gel/mask as this will soothe the skin.

To get rid of dark circles, make a cup of tea then freeze the used tea bags for arounf 15 minutes and put it on your eyes.

to make your skin glow, mix the juice of half a lemon with two teaspoons of honey and apply it to the skin. make sure you rinse it off.

I found you a great video to naturally darken hair it is great, here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p83lKQ5FqRU.

To make hair shiny, add a bit of lemon juice and olive oil to your shampoo or conditioner, and rinse with very cold water to seal the cuticles of the hair and lock in the moisture.

to protect hair from the sun, use the charles worthington hair protectio spray which is available at 'boots' and even 'home bargains' it looks like this : http://www.handbag.com/cm/handbaguk/images/96/or_3f01b256124663548225436.jpg to protect from chlorine and salt water, wet hair and apply a leave in conditioner to disable the absorption of salt and chlorine. Then deep condition after wards.

To make eyelashes thicker and longer, rub vaseline onto your lashline, very carefully so that you dont get it into your eyeballs. and massage gently so you dont loosen your eyelashes.

You can use a tinted moisturizer (not the foundation kind ) to slowly make your tan last longer.

you could get a cuticle pusher to push back your cuticles so they are even.
